Walking With God
  1. Would you consider your walk with God stagnant, growing, or regressing?
  2. How open are you to going wherever God might ask you to go or doing whatever God might ask you to do?
  3. Read Galatians 5:1-4.  Write in your own words the essence of this passage.
  4. These people were trying to walk closer to God on their own terms.  What did they think they needed to do to be close to God?
  5. What does it mean to fall from grace?
  6. In verse 5, Paul says we hope for righteousness.  What is the righteousness for which we hope?
  7. Read Romans 8:1-14.  What do these verses tell us about the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives today?
  8. How can we be sure that an inner prompting is of the Holy Spirit?
  9. Galatians 5:6 says, “the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.”  Can you give any examples how your faith in Jesus has motivated you to loving acts or deeds?
  10. What is the result for the church, the family or the community when our faith does not express itself in love?
