- How open are you to going wherever God might ask you to go or doing whatever God might ask you to do?
- Read Galatians 5:1-4. Write in your own words the essence of this passage.
- These people were trying to walk closer to God on their own terms. What did they think they needed to do to be close to God?
- What does it mean to fall from grace?
- In verse 5, Paul says we hope for righteousness. What is the righteousness for which we hope?
- Read Romans 8:1-14. What do these verses tell us about the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives today?
- How can we be sure that an inner prompting is of the Holy Spirit?
- Galatians 5:6 says, “the only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” Can you give any examples how your faith in Jesus has motivated you to loving acts or deeds?
- What is the result for the church, the family or the community when our faith does not express itself in love?
