Fighting Confusion
  1. Discuss any insights or questions that arose through the message.
  2. Do you think Paul may have read this letter to the brothers with him before he sent it?  What effect might that have on this letter?
  3. What did Paul tell the Galatians was the purpose of Jesus’ death?
  4. What is so evil about this world?
  5. We will discover that one of Paul’s main adversaries was Peter.  What would be the effect on the church if two elders argued openly about an important Biblical teaching?
  6. Why can’t we all get along?  Why would it be important to fight for a clear understanding of the gospel?
  7. What would be the harm that might come to a congregation that didn’t “get the gospel right?”
  8. Do you feel Paul was too strong when he said he wished that anyone preaching another gospel would be “eternally condemned” or “cursed”?
  9. It would appear that Paul knew his words would upset someone.  If so, why did he speak up?
