Are We Listening?
  1. Name some times or some circumstances in which you might insist to another person that they listen to you.
  2. How hard would it be for the people of Galatia to decide between Peter and Paul?
  3. Read Galatians 1:11-2:20 and list the reasons why anyone should listen to Paul rather than Peter.
  4. Read John 3:19-21.  Why might people not want to listen to the truth?
  5. Is there anything in your life that you don’t want to bring to the light because you know in your heart it is wrong?
  6. Based on what you have read and heard, what guidelines do you find to determine whether a church is a “good church” and giving the right message?
  7. What guidelines might you add that are not found in this text.
  8. Paul appears to write with some emotion.  Does Paul cross over into sin in any of his discourse with the Galatians?
  9. Read the book of Galatians.  Write down any insights you glean from your reading.
  10. Memorize Galatians 2:20. Work with the group to learn this verse.
