1. God has great mercy.

2. In his mercy he has given us new birth.

3. This new birth produced a living hope.

4. This hope is based on the resurrection of the dead.

5. The blessings are our inheritance.

6. This inheritance is kept in heaven.

7. This inheritance is given to people of faith.

8. These people of faith are shielded by God’s power.

9. We are protected until we get our inheritance.
