Gerald Stillman

Raised in West Hampden, Gerald attended the West Hampden Baptist Church where at the age of 11, in VBS, Jesus reached down with his hand of grace, and Gerald’s hand of faith raised to Him on what he calls his “first holy ground”. He was raised in a good, moral home, but morality doesn’t save; it is in Christ and Christ alone that his faith rests. Through the early years Jesus saved his Mom and Dad as well.
Gerald had the great privilege of going to camp for a week one summer, the “Isle of Somewhere” where he dedicated his life to God. The place became his “second holy ground”. He graduated from Hampden Academy in 1966 and from Beale Business College in 1968. In the Fall of 1987, Gerald, wife Dottie, and two kids moved to Palermo, opening Mid-Coast RV Center on Route 3 where they worked for 25 years. They began attending PCC, became members and Gerald now serves as an elder, Sunday school teacher and on the Missions Ministry team. Gerald & Dottie have been married 50 years. Their two children have given them 8 grandchildren to enjoy and one infant granddaughter in heaven. Dottie & Gerald spend the month of July at Living Waters Bible Camp where they fellowship, serve and grow together in the Word of the Lord. |
