We exist to glorify God
by building a community that is growing in Christ-likeness
and making new disciples. 

 
Our purpose is glorifying God. The way we seek to do this is by growing in Christlikeness and making new disciples. The sphere in which we aim to accomplish this is our local church community: Palermo Christian Church. We invite you to join us in our mission.
We are an evangelical fellowship of believers that seeks to honor the one true and living God as we live our lives together in a gospel community. We gather together to read God’s Word, pray God’s Word, sing God’s Word, learn from God’s Word, and care for one another. We love God because he first loved us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus came, died, and rose again to save us from the penalty and power of sin through faith in him. Jesus died on the cross so that our sins could be forgiven, and to reconcile us to God, since our sins separated us from our Creator. We welcome you to join us as we worship God together in a local church community unified by our common allegiance to Christ our king.

We seek to accomplish this vision through 5 distinctives:

Word-centered: shaped and ruled by the transforming truth of Scripture  
Worship-driven: motivated by a love for God and passion for his glory
God-dependent: prayerfully trusting in God’s power and resources
Community-focused: loving one another by living life together
Missional-minded: intentionally serving our local community as we proclaim the gospel
